Timing chain drive in the vehicle guarantees the synchronization of crankshaft and camshaft. Normally, chain drive engines are considered to be low-maintenance, but with constant wear, vibrations, and unsuitable oil, you need to change the timing chain kit before an engine failure comes. 

What comes in a timing chain kit? It includes timing chain, chain tensioner, sliding rail, tensioning rail, sprocket, and cam phaser (vvt). Additionally, you will need new fasten bolts/screws for each part, oil seal and silicone glue to make sure a perfect engine sealing after maintenance/repair.
